Help the Trust build tracks
The Trust is a registered Charity and is funded by a small grant from Queenstown Lakes District Council.
To create new tracks the Trust relies on funding from other Charitable Trusts, private donations and support from local businesses.
If you would like to support the Trust in its mission to create a world class network of walking and cycling tracks in the Upper Clutha Basin, we would welcome either cash donations or donations of skills and services.
Even small donations can help the Trust
$6.50 will pay for a metre of water tabling
$8.50 will pay for a metre of track in an easy location
$10 will gravel a metre of track in an easy location
$250 will pay for a simple plank stile
$400 will pay for an A-frame stile
$1500 will pay for a cattle stop
Small projects needing funding
Glendhu Bay Track – remove redundant stiles and replace the others with cattle stops to make the track more cycle friendly
If you would like to make a financial contribution, you can either contact any Trustee or even easier, use the donate now button below and your donation will be made immediately to the Tracks Trust’s Paypal account.

After years of admiring your work I finally found a place to congratuale the Trust on its incredible work: your tracks have made the greatest positive change to our regular stays in our place in Lake Hawea!
We absolutely love it!
Be it walking, running, following kayaks down the river or just biking into Wanaka for a coffee…Thank you so much for your vision and determination.
We will use the “donate” option.
Cheers

Hi Ulla & David.
I just wanted to thank you for your comments above and your generous donation to the Trust.
We have plenty of ideas for new tracks and your donation will help us achieve them.
We also hope you have had the chance to check out the new track to Johns Creek. If not, its something to look forward to on your next visit.
Cheers
John Wellington
